AI CV parsing and scoring
Every CV that enters the system is queued for analysis. Recruify extracts experience, education, skills and projects into structured data, then compares them with the job description of the position applied for.
The work runs in the background, so you can close the screen and carry on. Results appear on the candidate profile once the analysis finishes.
Recruify reads CVs written in Vietnamese, English and Japanese, in PDF or Word format.
The Summary tab
The Summary tab shows what the AI extracted from the CV: contact details, work history period by period, education, skills, projects and the technologies used. It lets you size up a candidate without opening the original file.
The content is editable. When the AI reads something wrong or misses it, correct it directly on the profile — the corrected version is what the team sees from then on.
The AI Scoring tab
Open a candidate profile and select the AI Scoring tab. The result has three parts.
Scoring overview
- Candidate level — the experience level inferred from the CV: intern, fresher, junior, middle, senior or lead;
- AI recommendation — a quick verdict: a good fit, worth interviewing, needs further review, or not a fit.
Score by criterion
Each criterion carries its own score and explanation, so you can see where a candidate is strong or weak instead of reading a single total:
- Job matching;
- Must-have skills;
- Work experience;
- Complex projects;
- Code quality;
- Certifications;
- CV presentation;
- Grammar and spelling.
Which criteria appear depends on what the CV contains and on the requirements of the position.
Strengths and gaps
Two facing lists: the requirements the candidate meets well, and what is missing against the job description. This is the most useful part when preparing interview questions.
Re-scoring
When you upload a new CV, change the job description, or suspect the earlier result is stale, use Re-score at the top of the AI Scoring tab. Recruify analyses the current documents again and replaces the previous result.
Skill tags
The AI tags skills as it reads a CV, so nobody has to tag by hand. Filtering the candidate list by skill tag is the fastest way to find an earlier profile that suits a new opening. See Candidates overview.
Scoring is a hint, based on what the CV happens to say. Read the original CV before rejecting anyone, and record your reasoning on a scorecard rather than leaning on the number.
When there is no result yet
- The profile has no document — upload a CV on the Documents tab;
- The CV is still queued — wait a moment and reload the page;
- The file is a photo or a low-quality scan — use the original PDF if you have it;
- The analysis failed — use Re-score, and tell support if it keeps failing.
